Yes you book a swim at booking stage, that said if a swim is unbooked while you are there you can move to that swim, use the booking system on Swimbooker to see what swims are unbooked.  Dont assume if a swim is vacant its unbooked, it maybe booked but just that they are running late, use the Swimbooker system to see how many anglers are on and what swims are booked.

Those that are familiar with the lake will know it was pretty much wiped out by Otters in 2016.  As of writing this we know of 1 original ‘Otter Dodger’ notice the deep scar in its flank, probably had a few lucky escapes. Site otter fenced 2020
